Schrueder Software is a TV graphics company based in Durban, South Africa. We specialize in providing real time TV graphics for live TV sports events. The company started in 2002 with the first production being the Comrades Marathon (89kms - 13 hours of live TV Broadcast) . We have clients in 4 countries other than South Africa.

We started off with Inscriber graphic systems and we eventually moved over to VizRT. We have experience in high profile events namely, the 2011 All Africa Games (Athletics and Swimming) , IPC World Swimming Championships, 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations Official Draw, The 2013 South African Sport Awards, The 2014 African National Championships (CHAN - Soccer) , 2013 COSAFA Under 20 Soccer Tournament in Lesotho - just to name a few.

SOFTWARE SYSTEMS

All Software is custom developed in-house by Schrueder Software's Development team based in South Africa.

Schrueder Software provides the operators, hardware and customised software to handle your event.

We can create a software system for any sport. Some of the extra-ordinary developments that we add to the productions.

1. We developed our own GPS system. This is used on all marathon and cycling productions, giving you speed, distance and record comparison.
2. Whether it be, swimming, athletics, marathons or cycling – we developed our own integration into the Timing system to pull the data for LIVE TV.
3. At this year’s Argus Cycle Race – we had to use “Trackers” GPS system – We developed our own integration into “Trackers” System and we shown the live GPS information on TV.
4. At the athletics events – we developed our own integration into the Starters GUN and Timing systems (OMEGA, Timetronics)

EXTRA SERVICES

Schrueder Software can develop your VizRT software package. Whatever your requirements are , we will customize the software to your needs. The software can be handed over to the client for usage on your VizRT systems.

VizRT Artists scenes, template wizards, SQL Server Database and Windows Software will be provided. Training is also provided and on-going support.
